Yongxiong (Quentin) Zheng
With over 30 years of business experience, Mr. Yongxiong brings a wealth of ecommerce, trade and technology knowledge to the Group.
In 1993 he founded his own international trade company importing automotive components - Guangzhou Zhongjian International Trade. The company quickly grew and was ranked amongst the top three automobile companies in mainland China. Around this time, Mr. Yongxiong began investing in various companies including catering, garments, trade, logistics, interior design and internet games. From 2000 to 2005, he founded a technology company which provided fingerprint security to banks and government departments. From 2005 to 2012 he managed and held CEO roles in various trading companies. Since 2012, he has held the Chief Executive Officer role at Zhuhai Hengqin New Area Gatewang Technology Development Company Limited and Zhuhai Hengqin New Area Gatewang Investment Management Limited. He is also an Executive Director and CEO GNet Group Plc, which operates an ecommerce platform offering online and offline solutions to suppliers, distributors, retailers and consumers in Greater China and Asia.
Chief Executive Officer
Brooke Greville brings vast experience and connections in the sports trading and investment sector, primarily between Europe and Asia.
Brooke co-founded his first business 15 years ago; a recruitment agency specialising in language-speaking. Since 2009, he has specialised in the statistical and computational sports trading sector and has built-up a number of proprietary trading syndicates within football, golf and horse racing internationally. In 2013, Brooke set-up Sports Trading Network, a free website which publishes content for professional traders, computer scientists and statistician who trade on global sports markets. In 2014, he was appointed as CEO of the G Entertainment Group where he has been integral in strategy and investment decisions to grow the company’s portfolio.
Chief Financial Officer
Richard Carter has held senior accounting positions across many sectors including investments, mobile technology, entertainment, publishing and telecommunication. His skills compliment the senior management team on negotiations, fundraising and investment relations.
Richard began his early career as a Management Accountant at Time Inc, the UK’s largest publishing company. After gaining his CIMA qualification in 2007, he joined Avanti Communications Plc a start-up technology and telecommunications venture, and is today listed on AIM. He was the first employee within Finance and was responsible for setting up the entire financial function, operations and processes, internal and external reporting, as well as completing all aspects of the financial documentation required for the IPO. In 2014, he was appointed as CFO of the G Entertainment Group where he has been integral in strategy and investment decisions to grow the company’s portfolio.
Dr John Pitsillos
Dr. Pitsillos provides corporate and strategy advice for the Group.
He holds an MBA from Deakin University and APESMA, Australia and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investments from the Securities Institute of Australia. He was a fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australiasia (FinSIA) and is currently a member and fellow of the Institute of Directors (IoD) in the UK and a Certified Person – Advanced from the Ministry of Finance of Cyprus.
His professional career started in finance at Credit Swiss First Boston as an analyst of public firms. Later, he worked as a researcher and lecturer at the University of Melbourne, Australia. He joined SFS Group Public Company Limited in 1996 for 20 years, with responsibilities in the areas of research and analysis, asset management, investment banking, venture capital & private equity, group strategic planning, risk management & proprietary trading, as well as real estate and shipping investments. In 2016, he founded his own corporate advisory company, Rigorous Advisors Limited.
Founder of Single Yard Holdings
Ron has years of experience heading-up the United States racetrack industry and through his business ventures has strong ties to horse-racing in Asia, most notably in Japan, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. Since 2005, Ron has served as a director of Magna Entertainment Corp and as President and CEO of Santa Anita racetrack and the Los Angeles Turf Club. He eventually took on the role of COO for all Magna-owned US tracks and became a director of Xpressbet, a leading U.S. ADW provider. He continued to serve in those roles until May 2010.
In his capacity both as COO of nine MEC racetracks and as a well-respected thoroughbred race horse owner for over 30 years, Ron has been involved in nearly all aspects of thoroughbred racing. His vast array of experiences include: coordinating international relations with racing jurisdictions abroad; overseeing day-to-day track operations and thousands of employees; managing special events and race days often drawing crowds over 50,000; and, direct oversight of two of the most successful events in Breeder’s Cup history.
Founder and CEO of SportsSideKick
Entrepreneur with 20 years of experience in the media industry. Partnered with the BBC, NBC, FOX, Discovery Channel and ITV amongst many other international television and media platforms. Successfully started ABCMediaMusic, designed a digital platform delivery system to enable TV, film and video games companies to instantly download relevant musical content for sync purposes without the need for copyright clearance.
As founder of SportsSideKick he is a team creator and motivator. Responsible for forming relationships with, and then signing, major sports clubs across the globe, identifying relevant technology licences ahead of competitors and closing negotiations successfully. Maurice is responsible for overall product, business strategy & vision.
